Our economic development studies are designed to aid our public-sector clients in addressing a variety of urban development issues. Target Industry Analysis Evaluations of community assets, including locally available raw materials, locational attributes, skills and training of workforce, transportation facilities, availability and cost of sites, and available incentives relative to the needs and preferences of a wide variety of industries and employers.
Economic and Fiscal Impact Studies Analyses of future economic and fiscal impacts likely to be derived from one or more public or private capital investments, such as a port, industrial/business park, plant, mixed use development, transportation facility, or sports or entertainment venue.
Business and Industrial Park Studies Analyses of future demand for new industrial space, site requirements and the competitive environment supporting planning and development of new industrial/business parks. Includes assessments of prospect industries and employers likely to have the greatest interest in on site build-to-suit or lease facilities as well as their utility and building requirements.
Retail Trade Area Analysis Definitions of trade areas served by existing or proposed shopping centers or districts coupled with analyses of consumer buying power, retail demand by store type, buying habits, consumer psychographics and competitive facilities supporting development and store mix decisions.
