Josh Wadley • Market Analyst

Josh Wadley joined CDS Market Research following his graduation from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University in May of 2007. Josh received both a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics (Focus in Finance and Real Estate) and a Master of Real Estate while attending TAMU. Courses in his Graduate level studies included Real Property Analysis, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Law, Analysis of Real Estate Investments, Land Economics and Development Market Analysis.

In addition to his academic background, he has accumulated work experience in the field of market analysis including a summer internship with CDS in 2006. During his internship and subsequently as a full time employee at CDS, he has participated in the conduct of numerous market and economic studies for both Public and Private Sector clients. This work includes analysis of primary and secondary data, integrated GIS software applications, preparation of market planning and feasibility reports, and formation of strategic recommendations based on the assessment of current and expected market conditions.

Specific examples of projects completed with CDS include:

  • Development of real estate databases for residential and commercial land uses
  • Old Town Development Implementation Plan for the City of Lewisville, TX
  • Market demand studies for potential single family subdivision developments
  • Commercial corridor inventory and market analysis studies
  • Market demand studies for potential commercial real estate sites
  • Formation of a commercial revitalization plan for the northern sector of Pasadena, TX
  • Strategic growth and development plan, including site location, for a large non-profit religious organization
  • Market Study and Growth Management Plan for the City of Pryor, OK
  • Primary research and market demand analysis for a potential luxury waterfront development

Currently he is active in several real estate organizations including the Young Leaders division of the Urban Land Institute, the Society of Texas A&M Real Estate Professionals, Texas A&M University Real Estate Development Association, Commercial Real Estate Research Forum, and the Houston-Galveston Area Council Geographic Data Committee.
